Forty of America’s richest people have committed to the Giving Pledge, an effort by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett to encourage billionaires to provide at least half their money to charity.

PETE'S THOUGHTS - This has had huge interest this week.  Maybe we can't give what they can, but we can be challenged to do something bigger then what we are currently doing!

  • Fellows Friday with Siddharth Kara

PETE'S THOUGHTS - Great story if you want to understand these issues more.
  • BORDERLAND: SEVEN LIVES. SEVEN STORIES. AS TOLD BY VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
A new comic tells seven stories about human trafficking based on real testimonies from survivors. From a pastry maker in Warsaw to a waitress in Istanbul, the underground world of human trafficking touches every aspect of modern life...
PETE'S THOUGHTS = Brilliant idea.  Check out the comic!

  • It is one of the most honest, powerful films I’ve ever seen. I encourage you all to see it. The film doesn’t make soldiers out to be criminals, or the Afghani people to be perfect sinless victims. It simply gives you a front row seat to the front lines of battle.

PETE'S THOUGHTS = Very powerful YOUTUBE!  Blew me away
